What surprised us most? Generally speaking, I just expected standard trek, with somebody carrying our stuff and cooking basic meals. But what you provide is full scale 5 star experience. And all of that while doing everything in most sustainable and locally sensitive way.
Next time we come to Peru with our daughters, we will for sure trek with you again!
[Our guide Mario] was very friendly and flexible. We felt well cared-for and learned so much from him. Highly recommend!! [Our custom itinerary] was very thoughtfully planned to capture our many interests, fantastic guide and good ordering. [Pre-trip communication] was very thorough and easy to work with. I loved Fish Lake [Chaullacocha] and spinning and weaving and getting to see a working alpaca farm. Overall, it was a whirlwind but fabulous and everything we had hoped for. Thank you so much for taking care of all the planning so I could relax and enjoy the trip.
This is really glamping. We had a large crew, and many horses and llamas carrying our stuff. The campsites were set up for us and we were served lavish meals in the middle of nowhere. A great trekking experience.
Could not recommend Choquequirao more it was completely tranquil and felt like such an authentic experience arriving with only one other group there! The hike is difficult but definitely worth it.
The Apus cook was a star, providing delicious, creative, healthy, and plentiful meals and snacks including fresh fruit and vegetables cooked properly (not mushy). My partner’s dietary restrictions were also 100% accommodated and there was real coffee (not instant). We ate better on this trek than on any other trek we’ve done!
We were so happy to find Apus Peru – sustainable, community-focused and authentic. The trek was stunning and seemed so remote. Our guide was simply fantastic.
